Chinese Lanterns...

Hello me lovelies

Update: I have updated my Slimming blog with Wednesday Weigh-in

In June i had the pleasure to go to the Doncaster Dome for the Stamp Magic show with some lovely friends and my sis, well we had a great day and spent a few pennies too...

It was well needed because i needed to have a little break and a change from every day life things and forget about things that are going on in my life at the moment...don't worry our dieting didn't take a back step because we had taken a Slimming World picnic with us and it was really yummy too :)

I went to the Clarity Stamp stall and bought myself a 6 x 6 Gelli plate {oh what fun!} and some stencils and amongst the stencils i had bought was a pack called "7 x 7 Flower Head" stencil set...i just love each and every one of those stencils so i had to have it Lol
Anyhoo in that pack of stencils there is a stencil called "Chinese Lanterns" which i think is fab so i decided to use it on some white card and then using some shaving brushes i went over it using 2 different coloured ink pads and this is how it turned out...hope you likey :)

Products i have used...
Papers and card...all from stash
Ink...Stampin Up "Pumpkin Pie" and "Real Red" ink pads
Tools...Clarity Stamp "Chinese Lanterns" stencil
Well that's all from me today folks but i will be back soon...
Thank you for taking the time to stop by here and for any sweet comments you may leave me :)

Shadow Stamping...

Hello me lovelies

I was hoping to have this blog post up before now but i had a doctors appointment this morning to have some bloods taken because a couple of weeks back i went to doctors for a tablet check and the nurse had noticed i was poorly again so she decided it was best to take some bloods to see what's going on.
Anyhoo they came back that i have slightly high Cholesterol and that they think i might have Diabetes so they wanted another blood test to check the numbers again so i went to have them done again this morning, i will get the results back next Tuesday so lets see what that brings!!

Right me lovelies enough of the old waffle about me and on with today's card...it's a one layer card with shadow stamping on it and the reason for this is because as i've been having a good old nosey around blogland i had seen lots of stunning cards with this fab technique on so i thought i'd give it a go and this is what i have come up with...hope you likey :)

I was also inspired by this lovely weather we are having at the moment so i thought i'd add a orange circle which represents the lovely warmish weather we are having and it's nice to see that beautiful sun in the sky.

Products i have used...
Papers and card...White card {stash}
Ink...Stampin Up "Pumpkin Pie" ink pad, Momento Tuxedo black ink pad
Tools...Waste from a die cut
Well that's all from me today folks but i will be back soon...

Fancy Florals with a hint of Pink...{Take 3}

It's Friday me lovelies...are we all excited??

I am because our 3 older boys have broken of school for Easter which means no more school runs {YAY!!} don't get me wrong i do love having them at home as well...its just the school runs, put it this way its just nice to have a break from them Lol
After Easter holiday's my our youngest boy starts nursery...i know i can't believe it either but that's not the shocking bit, they told me he will start school September...i was like yeah but we have over a year to prepare for that and she was like "no this September because he will be five next April"...i was like omg yeah he will be!!
 Then that sickly feeling you get in the bottom of your stomach kicked in...i just can't get my head round him nursery never mind starting school but you think i would be used to it by now as he is my 4th son but here's some more shocking news...my eldest boy leaves school this year to go to college, i know that's shocking too isn't it!!
Where does the time go??

Anyhoo enough of the old waffle and get on with sharing today's card, it's {Take 3} of those Fancy Florals cards but this time it's different from the first 2 i shared with you...same stamp sets, same colours but different layouts, lets see what you think of it..hope you likey :)

Fancy Florals with a hint of Pink...{Take 2}

Hello me lovelies

I was going to come back last night with the card i am going to share with you today but i ran out of time before i went to my weekly "Craft get together"...which we were making Christmas cards last night because we don't want to be rushing at the last minute with those so we do a batch once a month...we should have plenty by then Lol

Anyhoo today's card is {Take 2} of the Fancy Florals card i shared with you the other day...same design and colour except the flowers are different!!
 I make cards in batches...big or small and the reason is, you can guarantee that a customer will see what another customer has bought and want one the same so i make a few the same but sometimes i tend to just change something on it, nothing major...just something little.
Righto me lovelies enough of the old waffle, here's my card...hope you likey :)

Just noticed i haven't added my pearls under my sentiment *shaking head* at oneself...i guess i will later!!
