Nutcrafters Challenge #74...Anything Goes DT Card

Before i get on with today's post i just want to apologise for not been around and that's down to having soooo much going on in my life at the moment family wise which is more important then blogging, i am sorry but i have to put my family first...i am sure you will all understand!!

 Blogging will only be as and when i can fit it in around my family!!

Nutcrafters Challenge #73 DT Card...Midway Reminder

Hello me lovelies

I am here today to share a midway reminder dt card for Nutcrafters for our latest challenge which our fabulous boss lady is hosting and she has chosen...


so we would love to see nice bright summery themes, images and colours on cards/creations

On my card i used one of the Baby and Toddler images that Katie had brought out a few months a go and i just think they are adorable and the one i have used is of a little boy watering his flowers...its really sweet!!

Pesky Teen Boys...

Hello me lovelies

I have scheduled this post because i have a busy day today because i am spending some time with my little sis and my mum!!


Before i get on with todays post i wanted to ask a question....is anyone having problems uploading to their blogs??...meaning your photo's of your cards because i haven't been able to so i am hoping todays post works *fingers crossed*

Today i am sharing a card i was asked to make for someone for their nephews birthday and pleased to say she was really chuffed with it *phew*...i have used a Ladybug Crafts Ink image called Skateboarder and its an awesome image for those pesky teen boys, i have also added a sentiment but in text slang or whatever they call it Lol, here's my card so you can see for yourself...hope you likey :)

What 14 already...ya kiddin aren't ya!!

Hello me lovelies

Now behind the scene's of Gems little creations there has lots been going on but just when we thought everything was sort of getting back to normalish...we had a phone call last night from Lee's brother to say their Mum had been taken into hospital with a really bad chest infection so she has been pumped with antibiotics. Lee has spoken to his Mum this morning and the hospital informed her she has Pneumonia so they are keeping her in a little longer and thankfully they think they have caught it in time *phew* 
We are so hoping she will be at home for Christmas and if Lee's mum has her own way she will be home, she a tough cookie that one, Anyhoo please keep your fingers crossed for us!!

I do hope 2014 is going to be a better one for all my family as 2013 hasn't been a great one!!

I cannot believe it's Christmas day very soon so are you all ready for the big man in the red suit to visit...my boys are getting very excited here or is that just me...probably the later one lol
No my 3 older are just taking it in their stride and like yeah whateva...typical teens i suppose but my 3 year old cannot wait, he's counting the days down...bless his little cotton socks lol

Today though we are celebrating a birthday in our household because it's our 2nd eldest son's birthday and he has turned 14 today {yay!}...

Happy 14th Birthday Connor!!

Righto i am not going to waffle on any longer as i think i have done enough so here's our Connor's birthday card that i made for him...hope you likey :)

Ladybug Crafts Ink...'Mobile phone' Josh

Hello me lovelies

I have a male card to show you which was for my nephew, its a belated birthday card...yes naughty me forgot his birthday *hanging head in shame* 
but in my defence i have not been to feeling to good which i am having tests done to see what's going on, anyhoo i wont bore you with my problems!

For my nephews card i used an 8x8 card blank & i also used a fantastic digi image from Ladybug Crafts Ink called 'Mobile phone', its from their Teenager Josh range...it's definitely a great image for those pesky teenagers *smiles*

Anyhoo i will just show you my card instead of me waffle so without further ado, here's my card...hope you likey *smiles*

Ladybug Crafts Ink...Double Trouble

Hello me lovelies

I am dosed up on pain relief & not feeling to bad so i thought i'd come back with a card...i am just so glad that i got rid of that nasty wisdom tooth thou :o)

I wanted to be showing you a Little Claire's card to you today but after i put on my watermark on my card & saved it to my computer i can not find it any where so i thought i will pop back later tonight or maybe tomorrow with it...its a gorgeous candy coloured Christmas card, even if i say so myself :D

I have been making some cards up for my card stash & today i have a 8 x 8 card for you, using 2 of the fabulous stamps i have in my stash from Ladybug Crafts Ink & they are called 'Handbag Nikki' & 'Shopping Nikki'....oh yes i have used to stamps & brought them together to create 1 image & i must say it looks fab...they actually look like Sister's shopping so i then decided to add 'Sister' on the card & a birthday sentiment too.

Anyhoo i wont bore you any more with me waffle & just get on with showing you the card...hope you like it!

LadybugCraftsInk...Tomboy

Hello me lovelies

This is was meant to be posted this morning but i have got up with my right side of my face a bit swelled & over the period of the day it has got bigger...don't understand why, i don't have tooth ache or anything so there is no reason for...all i can say is my cheek & my jaw hurts really bad :o(
I think if it continues to swell it will be a trip to the doctors to find out why its swelling!!

Update...I have been to see a doctor this morning & he has said i have an abscess so it's a trip to dentist i go, will keep you updated on how i get on...the problem is i am petrified of dentist *fingers crossed* i will be ok :o( 

Right i am quickly going to get this post done so i can go & get some tablets...I am back today with a card i have made using a Ladybug Crafts Ink digi stamp called 'Tomboy', her name is Jess & you will find her here...
I got these digi stamps a while back & been making cards with them which go in my box, so if ever anyone needs a card, they are there ready & waiting.
This card is an 8x8 so a nice decent size card, I have added a the word 'Daugther' onto it with the number 16 too...normally i don't add sentiment or numbers until later but i thought oh what the hell, just go for it...someone will want one eventually {hope so anyhoo}

Nutcrafters Challenge #2 DT card - Think Pink

Hello me lovelies

I have finally managed to get onto my blog....now *fingers crossed* it will let me upload!!

Firstly i just need to apologise to Nutcrafters DT & Sketch n Stash DT for not uploading my DT cards as yet but had Internet & blogger problems (again) but hopefully all is well for now!!

Some exciting news :D

Hello me lovelies

How are we all today??
My 4 little scallywags are all in bed...well Jaykub is, the eldest is on his xbox and the middle 2 are watching a dvd in bed & hubby has his feet up relaxing so its really quiet & peaceful here, makes a change lol

Anyhoo I'll like to share some exciting news but wait just 2 more minutes please as i just want to ask a question...

Woohoo...you found it yes its lil 'ole me, 
gawd i hate having photo's been taken of me....but I thought it was about time i showed you a piccie of me, hopefully i didn't scare you!!

Right best not make you wait any longer but my exciting news is....
I received an email recently from Katie & Colette who are the Nutcrafter girls, anyhoo they have asked me to join their DT....woohoo thanks ever so much girls :D
I have been card making for some time now which i started of with decoupage & embossing...then one day i went to a craft fair which the girls was attending and they had released their Nutshell girls stamps so lil 'ole me bought them, never ever stamped before so this was a new step & oh my i never looked back and i think i have nearly every one of the Nutcrafters stamps....cant help it they are fab :D
so I feel really honoured to be asked by the girls as they know i really love their stamps, 
Katie & Colette and the rest of the DT...i would just like to say i am looking forward to working with you all & cant wait to see who else is joining the team :D

LOTV - Armchair bear

Hello me lovelies

Hope are you all? Hope you've all had a good weekend!!

Our weekend are always busy visiting families..yesterday we visited my hubby's parents & today we visited my parents....mmmmm...had a lovely roast dinner!!
Before we had our dinner Me, hubby, my sister Vicky & 3 of my boys (as eldest wanted to stay with his mates) went to some garden centres to have a look for some flowers...i got some bargains, 4 little Fuchsia's & 2 little Geraniums (for Mum & Dad) they had been reduced to half price so i got them for 89p each...well you cant pass a bargain can you :D

Talking about a bargain...Jacqui from ThePoodlesDoodles has a fantastic offer on at the moment on her digi's  you buy 3 get 1 free so go & grab yourself a bargain...OMG her digi's are so sweet, you can find her shop here!!

Right enough of me waffling i best get on with today's card, Ive made a Father's day card for hubby from the 4 boys using a Lili of the Valley stamp called 'Armchair Bear'....its sooooo adorable and i went for a brown mono look, just hope its ok!!

Cuddling....

Hiya Crafters,
Isn't it cold????  I'm sat here shivering.....* teeth chattering* bbbrrrbbbbrrr but warming up slowly with a yummy lovely cup of cocoa, fresh cream and marshmallows....what a treat!! lol
Which by the way leads me on to tonight's card.....I've used a Rachelle Anne Miller stamp called Cuddling, hope you like it :o)

13th birthday card

Sorry i haven't been around much....well i have but only to leave comments, as 3 of my boys have all gone back to school this week so I've been busy preparing for my eldest sons 13th birthday today.........oooooooo the terrable TEENS.......ARGHHHHH!!!!
Count to 10......1,2,3,4 deeeep breath in...5,6,7.......Exhale......8,9,10...this isn't working.....OMG, OMG.....i just cant believe i have a TEENAGER in the house!! lol
I'm really sorry for all the screaming and the shouting.....omg, now i sound like a teenager lol
Sorry Tantrum over!!
 I'll move on and tell you about the next card, well I previously showed you my sons card from me and his dad....well I've made one from his 3 little brothers, hope you like!!
